Degrees, Minutes, Seconds

You can enter values in the form of degrees, minutes, seconds (DMS) by using the [. , ,,] key. Additionally, if you enter a value containing a decimal point, or the value is the result of a previous calculation, pressing [. , ,,] will convert the decimal value to DMS.

To enter 5° 30' 15'', use [. , ,,] twice between values. For example, you would key in:

{5} [. , ,,] {30} [. , ,,] {15}

Pressing equals now will convert the value to decimal, i.e.,

[=] 5.50416666666666667

Press [. , ,,] again to convert the result back to degrees, minutes and seconds.
